This grant funding is intended to support smaller community groups and not-for-profit organisations with operating their facilities such as Marae, Community Halls, Clubs and Churches in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.
Applicants are applying for grant funding that will only be directly applied to an electricity power bill for each marae or the community facility they represent. Successful applicants will acknowledge this requirement prior to the grant payment being made by Trust Horizon when completing their uplift of funds form.
This funding is a one-time payment only of a GST exempt grant and the value is anticipated to be a power bill contribution of up to $2,500 for successful applicants.
